Welcome!
I hope you and your family are as excited about this school year as I am! Our Spiritual theme for 2011, "IMPACT: Building Faith, Loving Others" has already created such an excitement and focus on others - especially our students - that I truly believe we are poised for Cascade Christian Schools' best year yet!
One of the amazing projects happening this year is our first-ever Weekly Devotion series that will be emailed to all of our Cascade Christian Schools community (as well as being available on our web site). Each week the spiritual theme will be emphasized as we:
-
Read it (the scripture),
-
Think on it (thoughts pertaining to the scripture),
-
Pray about it, and
-
Act on it (suggestions for follow through)
In addition, there will be Parent Hints - suggestions for parents on effectively using this devotional series with their children.
As an added bonus, each week there will also be a sidebar. This sidebar will include questions and answers about Cascade Christian Schools. There will be sections regarding:
-
Our Guiding Principles
-
Our Strategic Plan and Vision
-
Our Educational Model
-
Biblical Worldview Integration (BWI) and Specific Biblical Truths (SBTs)
-
IMPACT leadership, planning, and training
As we partner together to educate your children, my prayer is that you will be blessed. Blessed by the devotions, blessed by the vision and purpose you will discover embedded in the very core of Cascade Christian Schools, and especially blessed by the relationships you develop as we walk through this school year, advancing God's Kingdom, together.
Sincerely,

Don Johnson
