IMPACT Learning Teams
What are IMPACT Learning Teams?

Teams of CCS administrators and faculty members meet throughout the year, determined to increase the level of excellence in education, as well as personal, spiritual and leadership development in our students at Cascade Christian Schools.

What do IMPACT Learning Teams do at the meetings?

  • They ask "What does the data tell me about my students?"
    • September pre-testing and report card grades
    • Strengths data (7-12): Click here for information on StrengthsQuestTM and how it benefits our students.
    • MAP data (K-12): Click here to learn more about MAP® testing.
    • Explore/Plan test data (8th and 10th grades)
    • Other data (experiential, parent conferences)
  • They use this information to answer the question: “Who is in my class?”
  • They strive to determine: "Based on the data, how can we better meet the needs of those in my class?"
  • They ask questions, such as: “What other opportunities can we provide our students to grow in their purpose before God?”

IMPACT Learning Team (ILT) Commitment:

As teachers and staff members, we commit ourselves to a new way of thinking and working together to ensure student learning for all children in our schools. We understand that we have a shared responsibility to effectively use all student data available to us to guide our practice as educators. We commit ourselves to a no excuses, results-oriented learner-focused team approach to increase student learning. We clearly see the value of this approach for our students and for our own growth as professional educators: therefore, we commit ourselves to help one another to develop a learner-centered culture at Cascade Christian Schools.

Professional Learning Community (PLC) Commitment:
