Dedicated to Developing Discerning Leaders

Tuition at Cascade Christian is not “one-size-fits all.”

Thanks to generous donors and fundraising efforts, no family pays the total cost of a CCS education. Through our Tuition Assistance program, many families are also able to receive an adjustment to their tuition, based on their unique financial status.

It is our desire to walk with you as you take this journey with your family. Please know that we will make every effort to make it financially possible for you and your children to become and remain part of the Cascade Christian Schools family.

If you're interested in what your adjusted tuition amount could be, click here to submit your FACTS application.

(Applications for adjusted tuition are only processed after the enrollment application is submitted and the student has been accepted at CCS. Click here to apply for enrollment.)

Cascade Christian Schools utilizes the online service FACTS Grant & Aid Assessment (FGAA) to process tuition assistance applications.

FGAA does not decide whether tuition assistance will be given or how much to give; rather FGAA provides a need-based financial aid analysis service which includes a recommendation of what a family should reasonably contribute toward tuition. All information submitted to FGAA is kept confidential. Results are reviewed by the Tuition Assistance Committee. Upon approval by the Committee, a tuition assistance award letter is sent by email to the family.

Tuition assistance applications for 2017-2018 will be accepted beginning January 1, 2017.

  1. If you are a current CCS family, your account must be current to receive tuition assistance. If you are applying for tuition assistance for the following school year, your continuous enrollment payment must be paid. Families must re-apply for tuition assistance each year.
  2. If you are new to CCS, you may apply for tuition assistance once we have your student(s)' completed and accepted enrollment application. Timing of review for new tuition assistance application is as follows:
    1. ‚ÄčIf you are applying for tuition assistance for the following school year, your applications will be considered after March 20 of the current school year. (i.e. if applying for 2017-18, applications are considered beginning March 20, 2017)
    2. If you are applying for tuition asistance for the current school year, please apply within two weeks of acceptance to CCS.

Please note that while CCS is actively seeking to support all of our families, there are a limited amount of tuition assistance funds each year, so the sooner your application is completed, the more likely you will be to receive assistance.

Step 1: Log in to FACTS here.

Step 2: Complete the Grant and Aid Application, which starts below the video and instructions. Live help is available by clicking on the green tab on the upper right hand side of the form. (Faxed or copied applications will not be accepted.)

Step 3: Pay the FGAA application fee. (Please note: The FGAA application fee is paid directly to FGAA, and is non-refundable.)

Step 4: Mail or fax all the supporting documentation. The tax documents needed to verify your application are listed on the FGAA Checklist that is found online. "Draft" or "Preview Copy" tax documents will not be accepted.

It will take approximately 2-4 weeks for your online application and supporting tax documents to be processed. FGAA can verify receipt of documents after they are scanned into their system, which takes approximately 2 to 3 business days.

Tuition assistance eligibility notifications will be sent when:
  • New families:
    • There is a completed and accepted enrollment application on file,
    • The FGAA tuition assistance application process has been completed, and
    • The FGAA tuition assistance application has been verified by FGAA.
    • If applying for the current school year: in approximately 2-4 weeks, or
    • If applying for the following school year: after March 20 of the current school year.
  • Current CCS families:
    • The family's CCS financial account is in good standing,
    • The Continuous Enrollment payment has been paid,
    • The FGAA tuition assistance application process has been completed, and
    • The FGAA tuition assistance application has been verified by FGAA.

If, despite everyone's best efforts, you decide you must decline the tuition assistance award and pursue your student's education elsewhere, the New Student Registration fee (or the Continuous Enrollment payment for returning students) will be refunded, less $25.

Thank you for considering tuition assistance for your family. Please contact Sandy Hilt or Tim Kleefeld at the District Office (253-841-1776) if you have any questions.
