Darlene Kasper, International Admissions Director and Host Family/Program Coordinator

Darlene Kasper studied Elementary Education at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro before becoming a wife and mother. She joined Cascade Christian Schools in 2008, and works as the International Admissions Director the Program Coordinator. Darlene helps find and support host families; as well as offer international student support on campus.
In the last ten years, her family has hosted over 25 students in her home and feels blessed to have had children from South Africa, the Philippines, South Korea, Japan and China.

Justine earned her certification in TEFL, Teaching English as a Foreign Language, in 1997 from the International Institute of Linguistics at Maryland Bible College and Seminary in Baltimore, Maryland and a Bachelors degree in Missions in 1998 from the same institution. She has done mission work in 16 countries and joined the Cascade faculty in 2013. Her own 3 children attend Cascade and her family has hosted students from Korea, China, and Japan. Helping students gain the skills they need to become successful in their American high school career and beyond is her upmost priority as an educator. She is an innovative teacher who enjoys using technology in the classroom to enhance learning and promote student growth.

Ms. Barth earned her bachelor's degree in Elementary Education with an emphasis in English. Her special interests are art, prayer, discipleship, hiking, traveling and missions.
What Ms. Barth likes most about being a part of the CCS family is the students! She says, "I have a heart for building relationships with the students and calling out the greatness in them."
