A Note from the Admin Team

Dear Parents,
As we move through this final month of school, we want to highlight some upcoming events to help you plan. We are currently in the middle of our spring MAP testing, which will end on May 25th. On Thursday, May 31st, we want to invite you to our spring awards assemblies. Junior High will be at 7:45 a.m. and High School at 8:35 a.m. You will receive a letter next week if your child is receiving an award. On the evening of the 31st, we will have our Senior presentations, followed by many other Senior activities in June.
On June 4th, our Senior farewell chapel will be in the morning; “Senior Hall of Fame” and “Senior Awards Night” will be that evening. Graduation is Friday, June 8th at Champions Centre. June 11-13 are half days and HS students will take finals; JH students will also be on a half day schedule.
Finally, the High School spring concert is June 5th and the Junior High spring concert is June 7th. Please continue to check the website, JH/HS homepages, and the district calendar for information during this busy season!

PS: As a reminder, please do not bring valuables (large amounts of money, electronics, etc) to school. These become easy objects for theft, and we have had some theft problems in the girls' locker room/bathroom.

8th Grade
Move Up Luau

All 8th graders and their parents are invited to join in the Luau Move Up Celebration on Friday, May 18th. Please check the invitation that was mailed for time, dress code expectations, etc. Thank you to Brenda Morris for volunteering to put together this year's slide show!

Incoming Freshman Registration Session

All incoming freshmen and their parents are invited to attend the Freshmen Registration session on May 21st at 6:30 pm at CCS. Please check in at the lobby.
Families will receive information about High School and will register for their freshmen classes for the 2012-2013 school year. Plan on attending!
Important information: During the registration session we will be using RenWeb to register for classes. It is necessary for either you or your child to have the RenWeb username and password in order to complete the online registration process. You may not register for classes on May 21st if you do not have this information.
Families who need help setting a RenWeb account can contact Mrs. Scheuerman via email. Please include the email address you wish to register.
If you are not able to attend this session, please email Mrs. Warren to set up a time to meet AFTER the 21st.
