Making Room for Growth is a multimillion dollar capital campaign solving urgent needs by creating enough space for all to attend Cascade Christian Schools and to improve each student’s experience.

Thanks to our generous community of givers, we constructed a gymnasium in 2020 for $5.1 million (Phase 1 of the junior high). In 2023, the first floor of the classroom wing was completed for $7.2 million and is now full of thriving junior high students (Phases 2a and 3a of the junior high).

This fall, we are relocating our Puyallup Elementary to the property that our junior high/high school is on and providing future space for the junior high and high school students, by finishing seven upstairs classrooms in the junior high building and adding an additional 10 modular classrooms. These new classrooms will also increase capacity for junior high and high school students in future years. Estimated to cost $4 million, Classrooms for Kids includes site work, relocation costs, 2 bathrooms upstairs in the junior high, and 17 classrooms (10 modular classrooms and 7 permanent classrooms). Combined, these facilities provide the indoor learning and athletic space needed for CCS students this upcoming school year.

In the fall of 2025, our enrollment will have grown to the point of needing an additional seven classrooms, requiring property acquisition, classroom design, and construction. Estimated costs for these components are still under consideration.

Making Room for Growth also supports the outdoor athletic needs of CCS students. Our current outdoor athletic programs and summer camps serve over 1,500 student-athletes, consisting of 16 outdoor athletic offerings for pre-school age students through 12th grade. Every program is growing and needs safe athletic space to meet the demand.

To meet this need, we’ve developed Fields of Dreams, which is a multiphase approach to the outdoor athletic component of CCS’s Making Room for Growth campaign. Located on the east side of the secondary campus, the 493,000 square feet athletic complex will include artificial turf playing fields, an 8-lane synthetic rubber track, scoreboards, an elevated golf green, lights, tennis courts, restrooms, concessions, storage, and covered stadium-style seating.

The initial phase includes an artificial turf football/soccer field, a synthetic 8-lane rubberized track and field components with in-ground infrastructure and is estimated to cost $4 million, of which $1 million has already been contributed by generous givers like you.
