Must You Go?
Greetings Cougar Family!
Well my dear friends, it’s a wrap to another great year. Last week I wrote my blog from the perspective of our calling as followers of Christ to GO into all that world. I shared how very important this message of the gospel is THAT WE HAVE and the world needs.
Yesterday we said “see you next year” and “congratulations” to our Kindergartners, our 6th graders and then to the rest of our student body, parents, and grandparents! It was such an emotional time as we GOT TO see the faces of the families we love, sending them off to new military assignments, new states, the junior high, or to summer break. There was amazingly decorated vehicles, much laughter, crazy dance moves, a crowd of cheer leaders, and I admit, some heartfelt tears.
Can I just say, I am ALL IN for Gods plan for each of you. I want you to take those next steps in the journey that He has for you. I am grateful for every moment we have together. But selfishly I say, MUST YOU GO?
Truthfully and from the bottom of my heart, I want you to know what a JOY it has been to lead at the Frederickson campus again this year. You all have my heart and my commitment to continue to pray for you and champion you as you to take those next steps. I look forward to having most of you back next year as you move up to the next grade level.
Until then, here is my prayer for you:
“The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace.”
Numbers 6:24-26 NIV
Speaking blessings over you,
Tina deVries, Principal and ELC Director
