TRUSTING WHAT IS KNOWN
This past week I came across a quote from Corrie ten Boom, a Christian woman who survived one of the most horrendous experiences in a Nazi concentration camp. Her quote made me stop dead in my tracks:
These words made me reflect on how much I'm really willing to trust God with the future. It reminded me of the truth that God is real, gracious, trustworthy, faithful, good, and just ... so I never have to fear the future.
Instead of being afraid of what is unknown, I can choose to trust in what is known ... an all-knowing, all-powerful, loving God, who WILL WORK ALL THINGS TOGETHER FOR GOOD for those who love him (Romans 8:28).
We may not know what the future holds, but we can be confident in WHO holds the future!
