A King is Born!

November 20, 2024
By Kabrina Kidd, FELM Music Teacher

A King is born! Will you make room in your heart for Him this Christmas?

By now most of your students probably remember the words to our Christmas songs even better than I do! The kiddos have been working hard to prepare for their programs. With only about three and a half weeks of practice left to go, we are ramping up and getting everything in place for a spectacular evening of celebration and remembrance of the birth of the King! These kiddos blow me away with their talent and hard work every single program!

This year our younger students will focus on Jesus’ birthright as the King of the whole universe as they sing songs, recite Bible verses, and perform small skits to help us remember and honor who Jesus is and what He came to do. Our older students will be inviting us to make room for Jesus as they retell the story of his birth, acting out some of the most important moments in the Christmas story—with a little bit of extra imagination thrown in to keep you on your toes!

Thank you for supporting these amazing kiddos by helping them practice at home and coming to cheer them on. We hope to see you here at our Frederickson Campus on December 17 as our K-2nd graders present “A King is Born” and our 3rd-5th graders present “Make Room.” Merry Christmas!
