Read the message below from your Frederickson Campus resource specialist, Petrona Kasemeier:

I could not be more thrilled to be the RESOURCE SPECIALIST for the 2021-2022 school year at our campus! This will be my 8th year teaching at CCS, and I am ready to make it the best one yet. I am excited to learn and grow with the students. With hard work, kindness, and GRIT, we can accomplish anything we set our minds to. As a resource specialist, I GET TO know students excellently through careful observations, gathering of information, and identifying themes to develop a comprehensive action plan that will better address the needs of ALL STUDENTS. Ultimately, I will work toward supporting a classroom grounded in inclusive practices. ALL STUDENTS should feel known and valued and EQUIPPED for the plans GOD HAS FOR THEM. Jesus said in Matthew 19:14 (NIV),

“Let the little children come to me,
and do not hinder them,
for the kingdom of heaven belongs to such as these.”

The students I work with are precious and valuable to Jesus. They are worthy and deserve the very best. My daily prayer is for God to give me a humble heart to serve HIM faithfully and to always put HIM first in my life. We GET TO do this TOGETHER!
