Merry Christmas!
It was pure joy to see all your smiling faces last week at our Christmas programs! I am so proud of our students and their hard work and dedication to proclaiming the name of JESUS over this holiday season. They reminded us that Christmas is a time to rejoice in the promises of God.
Our Christmas Chapel will be held on Friday, December 16, at 2:00 p.m. in our auditorium. Please join us as we celebrate our Savior’s birth and come together to openly profess the true meaning of Christmas.
This month’s spiritual focus is GROWING IN LOVE, and I am encouraged by how our students and staff are rooted and growing in their understanding that God is love and the foundation of our faith. For as it is written in 1 John 4:10, NIV, “This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.”
This Christmas, let us continue to remember that a baby has been born to bring light into this world; “he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace” (Isaiah 9:6).
May you have a joyous Christmas season!
