November Happenings!

November 09, 2022
By Annie Pichot, Principal

Big things are happening on our campus during chapel this month!

Our November spiritual focus is on being ROOTED IN THE CHURCH, and during our first chapel, we read what God's Word says about being connected with a local congregation.

On Wednesday, November 9, during our special Veterans Day Chapel, we are excited to honor the men and women who have served in our military. It is our privilege to come together as a community and express our gratitude for the many sacrifices our veterans have made to help build this great country we call home! During this event, our students will be thanking our veterans personally with handmade bookmarks as a show of appreciation for their service. We are also blessed to have our director of safety and security, Jake Petersen, who is a veteran himself, speak as our distinguished guest at this event!  A local JROTC member will come to present the flags.

The following Wednesday, November 16, we will be recognizing student dedication to academic achievement during our First Quarter Honors Chapel.

After coming back from Thanksgiving break, our last chapel of the month will be Cougar Family Groups, which are a highlight for our students as they gather together in small groups with all grade levels represented. These groups have presented a wonderful leadership opportunity for peer mentors as well as for deeper student connection and conversations.

We are thankful for your partnership in making Cascade Christian the very best school we can be!
