Standing Together
Frederickson Families,
As a school community, we GET TO do life together daily, meaning sometimes we celebrate with each other and sometimes we mourn together. It is in this moment that we are coming alongside our dearly loved Mrs. Sievers, who has unexpectedly lost her husband, Dan Sievers. Mrs. Sievers plays a significant role in our school community when it comes to Christmas programs, school plays, and other musical events. We are always amazed by her leadership and creativity on our Frederickson Campus!
Mr. Sievers has been a constant support to Mrs. Sievers and the entire Cascade Christian schools over Mrs. Sievers’ 20+ years of service. As we allow the Sievers family to process this difficult time and respect their wishes for space, we have set up a plan to support them during this time. We look forward to working together to love on them, which is the CCS WAY! In the meantime, please continue to lift them up in your prayers, praying that the Lord’s peace and comfort would continuously surround them.

Kids Heart Challenge
Check out this update below from our P.E. teacher, Mrs. Jeffries:
Kids Heart Challenge is well underway. The Frederickson Campus has raised more than $16,000 for the American Heart Association. I feel so blessed to work with such a giving community. The students are thriving with the curriculum KHC has provided for us. Our 4th through 6th grades are learning about their heart, brain, and lungs, and how they can keep them healthy and strong. Our K through 2nd grades are working on their coordination and cardiovascular endurance by jump roping. The whole school has taken advantage of learning fun dance moves from famous choreographers and doing warm-ups while watching NFL stars do the same!
The students have enjoyed collecting their Heart Heroes and displaying them on their backpacks around school. I think the mystery gifts are the students’ favorites. A huge shout-out to Mrs. Estep’s class, which has 100% of its students registered in the program and is well on its way to completing Finn’s Mission and earning a free PE class.
