What a Great Year!

June 08, 2022
By Tyler McClung, Board Chair

As I reflect on this past year, I am reminded of God’s faithfulness through the school year. As Jesus followers, we know that relying on the Lord’s wisdom, peace, and strength is what gets us through. From Convocation to Christmas programs, athletic events to performing arts productions, this year has been full of amazing moments of being together as a community. Congratulations to the Class of 2022!

The Lord has been faithful, expanding our community as we continue to grow. Through that growth, we see God’s faithfulness also in providing the incredible staff we need to serve more students.

Additionally, we are excited to see our administration and teachers develop and implement programs that deepen our biblical worldview immersion while developing discerning leaders who are known and valued. Our focus is to continue to be intentional about providing opportunities for our students’ growth in their faith with Jesus.

We also see God’s blessings through financial resources that our community continues to provide, which help us move forward with our junior high capital campaign and other strategic initiatives we are working to accomplish. There is so much to be excited for!

Last, I want to say thank you to our superintendent, Dr. Friesen, and his leadership team. The Board of Trustees has supported the administration as they have navigated difficult challenges over the past couple of years. The challenges have given us the opportunity to grow in our faith and reliance on Jesus as we walk through every situation. I am grateful for our team, their hearts for Jesus, and their passion to continually serve our CCS community.

I pray your family experiences a joyful summer in which you each grow in your walk with Jesus. I hope you’re able to enjoy some of the CCS Thrive summer programs! We look forward to seeing you back as a unified Cascade Christian family on September 8th at our All-District Convocation (details will be sent closer to the date).
