Greetings, CCS Family Members,
I pray this blog, my final one for the year, finds you doing well and experiencing God’s best in every facet of your life. As I considered what to celebrate as we wind up the year, I determined it to be the same truth most worthy of celebrating any time of the year:
This truth ties in perfectly with our spiritual theme this year of being ROOTED IN CHRIST (Colossians 2:6-7), the CCS 4 Pillars (Academic Excellence, Leadership Development, Spiritual Formation, Personal Character Development), and the CCS Core Values of Wisdom, Integrity, Excellence, and Honor. If you can relate firsthand to being rooted and strengthened in Christ because you have invited Jesus into your life as your Savior and Lord, I want to thank you for all you are doing to help us keep Jesus at the center of all we do.
If you have not yet invited Jesus to be your Savior and Lord, I encourage you—no, I urge you—to reach out to someone you know who has made that decision to learn more about how to make this most important decision of your life. The CCS community is filled with people who would love the opportunity to have that conversation with you.
We are blessed and honored to have all of you as a part of the CCS family. We would be even more blessed, thrilled in fact, to know you are a part of God’s family as well. Don’t delay; the stirring you feel in your spirit may be the Holy Spirit nudging you to come to Jesus.
In His service and with deep gratitude,
Ken
