Throughout the month of January, we are exploring how to “seek God with guidance” with Psalm 27:11 as our reference:
Teach me your way, Lord;
lead me in a straight path
because of my oppressors.
We want our students to see that seeking God with guidance ultimately leads to making wise decisions. With that goal in mind, we are excited to honor the life of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. by highlighting the ways in which he sought guidance from God and from those around him. We will have the chance to hear from a local pastor and his wife, and some junior high and high school students, as well as our district superintendent.
Please be in prayer as we celebrate the life and legacy of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.
End-of-Semester Assessments
At the beginning of the school year, our teachers outlined three to five essential learnings for students to work on over the course of the semester (and year). End-of-semester assessments are designed to authentically gauge to what degree students have mastered the essential learnings. This is an exciting time for students to display their growth in the classroom.
