Jr High Blog

We are excited to be starting the 2nd semester at the JH/HS after a great first semester. Our students worked hard academically to complete their final projects and tests, and it is awesome to see them thriving in many other ways as well. Our winter sports teams are performing strong, our theatre production of Charlotte’s Web coming up this week will be an excellent show, our music programs are thriving, our clubs are full, and our students continue to show commitment to their spiritual growth through Bible studies, chapel worship, and Bible classes. We are excited for our Spiritual Emphasis Week coming up in another few weeks! Students will be challenged and given the opportunity to refocus on the Lord amid all the busyness of this school year. Our theme for the week is “I can receive God’s joy in difficult circumstances.” Kramer Payne, lead pastor of Heart Church in Gig Harbor, will be sharing with students during an all-school chapel. The 6th graders will be invited to join us at this chapel, resulting in about 850 students, staff, and chaperones worshiping our King Jesus together. 

As always, God is GOOD and continues to show His grace to us in amazing ways. Our desire is to continue to SEEK GOD with all our hearts and look to Him for all that we need. He is perfectly merciful, gracious, and faithful. In Him, we discover all we will ever need!
