Rooted

September 07, 2022
By Jennifer Walling, Principal

We are so excited for the start of the 2022-2023 school year and trust that God is going to do amazing things in the hearts and lives of our CCS community. This year, we get to focus on what it means to be ROOTED in the love and truth of Jesus.

Our staff has already been meditating on this and praying together that God would lead and guide us as we disciple our students in our theme verses, Colossians 2:6-7 (NIV):

“So then, just as you received Christ Jesus as Lord, continue to live your lives in him, rooted and built up in him, strengthened in the faith as you were taught, and overflowing with thankfulness.”

During our first all-school chapel, Wednesday, September 14, our campus leaders will set the tone for the year as we journey together through our spiritual theme. We trust and believe that this will be an incredible year of learning and growth, and one that is full of joy, hope, and deepened faith. And as always, we will have a ton of fun together in junior high!

Looking forward to a great year ahead and hoping the start of the year is a smooth one for you!

Please join us this Thursday, September 8, at 5:00 p.m. for our annual district-wide Convocation celebration. This is a night of celebration to kick off the school year in prayer and fellowship with the CCS community. We will have food trucks, food booths, games, worship, and more!
