January Highlights ...
January has been an eventful month. Remember ...
- The “perfectly timed” snowstorm over Christmas break?
- The late start due to freezing temperatures?
- The “lake” that developed over our gravel parking area resulting from melting snow and rain?
- Early dismissal due to a downed tree on a power line right next to the school?
WOW! And yet, the “show must go on,” as we have continued to stay in school while navigating the weather and all things COVID.
Speaking of school, this month we have focused on Unshakeable Honor, particularly as we have celebrated the life and legacy of Martin Luther King Jr. and his message of honoring all people groups. As Christians, we recognize this is not just Dr. King’s message, but God’s message to love ALL people, since everyone is special and worthy of honor because they were made in the image of God.

- No School: Friday, January 28, for Teacher Work Day
- Open House: Saturday, January 29 (10 a.m.–2 p.m.)
- Kids Heart Challenge: ends Friday, February 18 (you guys are “rocking it”!)
- Bake Sale: Friday, February 18
- CCS IMPACT Auction: Saturday, March 19 (themes for procurement items should have already been emailed to you; click here to view them on our website)
