Greetings!

I am SO excited to be back at McAlder teaching music! I absolutely love what I do; it is my passion. I am thrilled that God opened the door for me to return and use the gifts He has given me. It has been fun to see my “old” students and a joy to meet all the many, many new faces at McAlder.

If you haven’t heard, we are getting ready for our Christmas programs. It’s hard to believe that the last time we were able to perform all together was two years ago. The students are working so hard on learning songs, memorizing words, learning motions, and trying out for special speaking, acting, and singing parts. I love how every single student in music class is able to participate. I hope my students know that I value each of them and that every one of them plays an important part when we are getting ready for our music programs.

Both of our Christmas programs focus on why we celebrate Christmas—Jesus. Our programs also focus on why God sent His Son; the salvation message; and whether the Bible is true, which is a resounding YES! So while we have fun together singing and being a bit crazy at times, the gospel message is at the forefront of why we do the musicals we do.

K–3rd Christmas Program: Monday, December 13 at 7:00 p.m.

4th–6th Christmas Program: Tuesday, December 14 at 7:00 p.m.

Both programs will be performed at Motion Church in Puyallup.
