As we settle into February, our spiritual theme reminds us to focus on GROWING IN GRATITUDE. Here at McAlder, we have so much to be thankful for as we continue the honored process of partnering with you as like-minded parents in training the next generation of students to be godly discerning leaders!
 

Here are some exciting things currently on campus as well as some upcoming events I would strongly encourage you to participate in:
 

• Winter MAP testing—happening now through the second week of February
• “Snowball Fight” in the gym (students only for this one—sorry, parents)—on Thursday, February 9 as a campus-wide reward for students reaching our 2nd quarter campus AR goal. Way to go, students!
• Feet to Faith family service project—more info coming with flyer being sent home on Friday, February 10
• CCS IMPACT Auction procurement items—due Friday, February 10
• Safe Tech at Home Workshop with Nathan Sutherland—Wednesday, February 15 (register soon for this free workshop recommended for CCS 4th through 12th grade families)
• Vintage Bee Coffee trailer on campus—Thursday morning, February 16, with this month’s staff drinks sponsored by the Schreib Insurance Group – thank you!
• Midwinter Break—no school, February 17–21
• Next PfC meeting on campus—Tuesday, February 28 at 8:45 a.m. with another “special guest”
• New PfC prayer gatherings on campus—every first Thursday of the month at 8:30 a.m. (see you on March 2!)
• Relationships in the Home Workshop with Cornelia Thomas—Thursday, March 2 (you won't want to miss this free workshop recommended for CCS 4th through 12th grade families)
