Thank You, Veterans!

November 09, 2022
By Tim Lorenz, Principal

This week we are proud to support and thank our amazing veterans. We are grateful for the sacrifices you have made to keep us safe and secure as a nation and to maintain our freedoms. We so appreciate your service in our great military! To honor you, we had a special chapel this morning during which we sang patriotic songs, had a slide show of the veterans in our school community, and brought in a special speaker (who is a veteran) to share with our students.

Spiritual Theme for this month: Rooted In the Church

We need each other, especially to really grow in our spiritual walk. God knew this and thus encourages us to come together often as believers (Hebrews 10:25), especially as we see the possibility of Christ’s soon return! In our current culture, it has become all too easy to stay isolated and either do church from home or not at all. While online church is an awesome resource when needed, I do not believe it is as effective or beneficial as physically coming together with people. There is a special anointing and power in worship, prayer, and encouragement that happens when we meet face to face with other Christians. I like what it says in Matthew 18:20, “For where two or three gather in my name, there am I with them” (NIV, emphasis mine). If you are not in the habit of going to church or meeting in a small group, I would strongly encourage you to do so, as you will be blessed.

Don’t Forget:
