I want to take a moment to honor and give a shout-out to several of our staff here at McAlder who do not always get the credit they deserve for the important roles they play here on our campus.
The first group I would like to recognize are those working in Cougar Club (our before and after school care program). Although not always seen, they faithfully care for students day in and day out, helping them start and end their days on a positive note. In addition to their creating a good, structured environment, I have seen them leading our students daily with prayer and a devotion to help our students start their day focused on God. Way to go, team! You are awesome and appreciated!
Our Cougar Club Team:
Recreation Site Coordinator: Jane Lance
Teachers and Assistants: Bettina Knaack, Audrey Reiter, Tami Murphy, Kathleen May, Grace Song, Jordan Horne
Enrichments Instructors: Danielle Wester, Tracy Nelson, Jacob Costa
The second group I would like to say thank you to is our office staff, comprised of my administrative assistant, Ronda Gregory; her assistant, Emily De La Torre; and our campus enrollment manager (CEM), Danielle Laycock. These people are on the front lines every day, keeping the campus rolling. From greeting parents and answering questions, to taking phone calls, to creating flyers, to taking attendance, to ordering supplies, to giving tours and enrolling new students on to our campus … let’s face it, they do a whole lot. And much of it is unseen and unsung, so thank you, office staff!
To all the above-mentioned unsung heroes, my hat is off to you for your part in making McAlder such an amazing school!
