STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math) is about discovering the awe-inspiring (and sometimes messy) world of science in a textbook-free, hands-on way! CCS’s curriculum is designed to engage your child’s creativity, support that creativity, and encourage collaboration so that problem-solving skills can flourish. Our STEM program emphasizes connections between STEM fields, making a real-world lesson in some way. An example of that would be a STEM project that required students to research physical adaptations and build a prototype of a prosthetic limb for an animal in captivity. 

Our lives become more digital each day with smart technology, self-driving cars, and virtual assistants, to name a few. This trend will create more demand for jobs in technical or STEM fields in the future and has made STEM education a very hot topic! Children who have a better understanding of STEM concepts will have an upper hand at these future opportunities.
