Below is a list of ideas you can use to serve others through words and actions

Impact Letter: Think about someone who has made an impact on you. Write them a letter letting them know the difference they have made in your life (e.g., parent, teacher, friend, coworker, youth leader, pastor).

Character Trait: Find a “character trait” that you love in someone close to you, and let them know how much you appreciate that quality.

Scripture Text: Text someone in your life a passage of Scripture that you know they would be blessed to receive.

Tasks Unnoticed: Find something that someone close to you does that often goes unnoticed. Recognize them for what they do, and let them know how much you appreciate them.

Pray: Ask God to show you one thing that you can do to serve others.

Pray for Others: Set aside a few minutes each day to pray for

Connect with Others: Find those who are particularly isolated, such as the elderly and/or those not surrounded by family, to connect with through social media, phone calls, text, FaceTime, or Skype.

Grocery Pickup: Find someone who is most vulnerable, such as the elderly, within your circle of influence and offer to pick up groceries for them during your normal run to the grocery store.

Resist Overbuying: During your grocery visit, don’t buy more than what you need for you and your family.

Practice Social Distancing: Follow all social distancing guidelines during this time so that we can do our part to “level out the curve.”
