Celebrating Veterans Day

Happy Veterans Day to all who have served this great nation of ours. We are grateful for the sacrifices you have made so that we might live in a nation of freedom. May God bless you greatly today and every day!
Veterans Day is a day to honor the men and women who have served in the armed forces. It is also a day to teach children about patriotism, empathy, and gratitude. It is good to remember that tremendous love and sacrifice was displayed by those who selflessly fought for our freedom; It did not come without cost. Furthermore, their service on our behalf points us directly to the sacrificial love of Christ who paid the ultimate price for us.
“Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one’s life for one’s friends.” (John 15:13, NIV)
This week at Cascade Christian, we honor those who willingly lay down their lives for our beloved country. May we never take our freedom for granted. In our lobby, we are honoring those who are currently serving or have served with a slideshow of photos received from our staff and families.
