God Does Not

Greetings, Cougar Community!
I hope that your Christmas holiday was filled with joy and lasting memories. Happy New Year! Which of the following sentiments resonate with you: (1) Peace out, 2021! (2) I’m taking 2021 into the new year, (3) I’m not sure how I feel about this next year, or (4) I’m just carrying on?
I don’t know about you, but I had greater expectations for 2021 than it fulfilled. It’s hard to know what to expect in 2022 after the last two years that we’ve experienced. However, I am reminded today that we may not know what the new year holds, but we know WHO holds the new year. And that offers hope and confidence for us no matter what lies ahead.
I pray that you and your family will also experience this same assurance. While protocols change, norms change, relationships change, seasons change, and years change, GOD DOES NOT. He is sovereign. He is good. He is faithful. He is a firm foundation. May you experience nearness to Him in 2022 that is transformative and eternal, no matter what else lies ahead.
