How’s Your Love Life?

Greetings, Cougar Community!
Before you think “TMI” or “None of your business!” let me explain. I listened to a talk this week, and that is exactly how it started. My face registered surprise until she clarified.
The intent was to provoke reflection on how well we’re doing with loving the people around us. How are we at being generous with praise, generous with encouragement, generous with grace? Do we see the people in our lives as the blessing that they are? Do we face our challenges, including those hard conversations, believing the best in others?
February is often the month in which we celebrate love. I am so fortunate to have married a man who does not wait until Valentine’s Day to communicate his love for me. May I suggest that every day should be Valentine’s Day? If we are going to be generous with anything, let it be in our love toward others.
