Cascade Christian Schools’ Recreation STEM programs are designed to broaden students’ knowledge in science, technology, engineering, and math. This is done through a hands-on, integrated approach, while keeping Christ in the forefront! We strive to provide the highest-quality and fun-filled STEM opportunities for our students.
We know that studies show the preschool years as being a vital time for laying the foundation both for future learning in children and for their interests. Our Early Learning Centers’ STEM enrichment classes are designed for curious minds. They make learning fun and exciting for our youngest scientists. Registration for spring classes opens soon.
Coming This Summer: Thrive Summer STEM Opportunities for KPrep Through 6th Grade
For the 9th year in a row, the McAlder Campus will be offering Camp Invention–Explore! Give your (entering) K-6 explorer an unforgettable adventure. This program will include all-new hands-on activities that will challenge students and increase their confidence as they explore STEM fun from the oceans to outer space. Even more exciting, this summer at the McAlder Campus, we will be offering our own CCS STEM camp for students entering 2nd through 6th grades.
The Frederickson Campus will be hosting two inspiring Thrive CCS STEM camps for students entering 2nd through 6th grades. Our CCS camps are designed by our own amazing STEM teacher, Rene Perry. Registration will be opening soon and space will be limited, so be sure to register early.
Our 2022 Adventure Day Camps will take place June 15 to August 19 and will include weekly STEM activities. Campers will have a blast traveling the globe, experimenting, and problem-solving.
The Recreation Department strives to make learning fun and memorable. STEM enrichment classes and camps are designed to motivate CCS students through engaging and fun-filled activities in exploration!
