Thank a Teacher!

Greetings, Cougar Community!
I heard a great story from parents last week who were expressing how much their child LOVES school! They said that every night when they are having their bedtime prayers, their son thanks God for each of his teachers by name. I remember these days. My children did the same. The role of a teacher in the life of a child is unparalleled. I know that our teachers LOVE their students, and I am continually amazed by their faithful service. I invite you to take a moment and say thank you for what they do each day. Kindness goes a long way, especially in this season.
We are looking forward to our Fall Fun Day on Thursday, October 28. We encourage you to dress your child as their favorite storybook character. We will be bringing our pumpkin patch to the playground, and the children will each get to pick a pumpkin, go on a candy parade, and participate in pumpkin fun in their classrooms. Also, our staff will be having a pumpkin painting contest of their favorite storybook characters. Take a moment with your child to vote for their favorite pumpkin at some point in your coming or going.
