There have been multiple times this year when, after experiencing an event, I made the comment, “That was so next level!” What is even more exciting and fulfilling for me is that I have had that experience in each of our 4 Pillars (Academic Excellence, Leadership Development, Personal Character Development, and Spiritual Formation). Two particular areas involved the arts and athletics. Not only do we have record numbers of students participating in both the arts and athletics, but we are seeing record-setting achievements in both areas. As I am giving thought to what dwelling in God’s goodness looks like in this moment, I am mindful of what students and families are getting to experience here at CCS in a next-level manner:
What warms my heart the most is the mindset and the “why” behind these next-level experiences we are seeing. The advisors, directors, and coaches who lead our students make the difference. Their “why” is to bring glory and honor to God at the highest possible level, and they pass that mindset on to the students they lead.
I am incredibly blessed to be part of a community where what matters most is to honor and glorify God and where taking that to the next level is our top priority.
In His service,
Ken
