So far, the month of February has been filled with wonderful things. We love our amazing students, supportive families, and wonderful staff.
We have continued to raise money throughout our Kids Heart Challenge and wrapped it up last Friday, raising over $10,000! Way to go, students!
On Valentine’s Day we celebrated our friends by passing out
valentines and lots of candy, wearing red and pink, and having fun parties in each classroom. It was an exciting and fun-filled afternoon.
This month we are also having fun in STEM. It has been amazing to watch our scientists, engineers, and mathematicians hard at work creating, building, using technology, and collaborating. Check out our pictures and videos on Twitter.
We are wrapping up our monthly theme, learning about Unshakeable Unity. Last week at chapel we learned about Ruby Bridges, Frederick Douglass, and John M. Perkins. We were reminded that God gave all of us differences and that He wants us to use them to honor and glorify Him. We were challenged to pray for others, stand up for what is right, forgive one another, and share Jesus with everyone around us. When we are unified with others and Jesus, we will be unshakeable!
A big thank you to all who helped with procurement for our auction. God is faithful! This is our first auction in 3 years! What a great opportunity for new and long-standing staff/families to rally together for the advancement of God’s kingdom—and have fun while doing it! TICKETS ARE ON SALE NOW! Registration deadline is February 28.
