Over the last two weeks, we were blessed by our students at their spring programs. Our students reminded us that we were born to praise God and that there is great treasure found in His Word! In His Word we see that He is our Great Creator, the King of Kings, the Lord of Lords; He is all-powerful, and He is victorious over sin and death! If we want to learn more about Him and who He is, we must dig into His Word!
Last Thursday, we celebrated with our students’ grandparents and special friends by hosting a fun Western-themed day! During the event, students and friends visited classrooms, viewed Feet to Faith projects, tried to line dance, played BINGO, and so much more! We are thankful for the love and support of so many!
Before we know it, on Tuesday, June 7, we will watch our kindergarten students walk down the aisle with their little caps and adorable smiles! We will celebrate all the learning that has happened this year for these little ones. We will also look back on the years that our 6th grade students have been with us and say farewell as we send them off to junior high. It has been a joy watching them be the leaders in our school this year!
On Friday, June 10, all our other students will celebrate the end of year with awards and a special time with their classroom teachers before moving on to the next grade. The end of year comes with excitement combined with possible sadness as students and teachers bring this year to a close. But as we know, when one door closes, another opens. We look forward with anticipation to all that next year will bring!
