November!

November 09, 2022
By Carlee Peterson, Principal

Wow! It is hard to believe we have finished the first quarter of the school year. Students have been learning, making friends, leading others, growing in their faith, and of course, having fun!

Rooted In the Church   Last week at chapel, the students heard a great message from Pastor Mark Edwards about the early church. He reminded us that Jesus changes everything and we are called to share what we have with others. We can share our time, our things, our talents, and even our smiles. We believe church is a place where we come together to worship, encourage each other, and learn from God’s Word. Being a part of a church body is important for our spiritual growth.

Veterans Day   Over the past couple of weeks, students have been doing various projects to honor, thank, and remember our veterans. They have written letters to those who so faithfully serve and have served our country, drawn pictures for them, and read stories about them.

Today we had the privilege of honoring our veterans with a special Veterans Day Chapel. We took this time to remember the sacrifice, courage, and example that has been given for our country. We sang songs, worshiped, and prayed!

Veterans, thank you for serving!
