Today was a great day to welcome our students on campus for our first day back to school! We are so excited about the school year ahead and all the adventures we will have!  

This year we will learn to SEEK GOD in all areas of our lives. We will learn to do this by gazing on His beauty, mercy, and faithfulness. We will also learn what it means to seek Him with patience, guidance, and a whole heart. Throughout the school year, we will gain a strong understanding of how we can each dwell in God’s joy, security, and goodness. 
 

We will do this by:

• Sharing the gospel with our students
•  Teaching truth from God’s Word
•  Praying for one another
•  Fellowshipping and worshipping together
•  Serving those around us 

We are looking forward to some important events where we get to share our vision for the year and build community. Please mark your calendar with the following events:  

• Tomorrow, September 7: Convocation, 5:15 p.m. We are looking forward to seeing you on the field at our JH/HS.
• Monday, September 11: PfC Meeting, 9:30 a.m. and Parent Orientation, 6:30 p.m.
• Monday, September 18: Donuts with Dads, 8:30 a.m.
• Thursday, September 28: WATCH D.O.G.S. Kickoff, 6:00 p.m. at JH gym
• Friday, September 29: FUN Friday after school

I am praying that our students, our families, our staff, and our CCS community will have an incredible year as we watch the Lord do a mighty work in us and through us.
