Choosing Resources for Student Success
March 02, 2018
By Joyce Blum, Director of Student Learning
Today was the first meeting for our Kindergarten through sixth grade English Language Arts (ELA) committee. The purpose of this committee is to make sure we are aligning all of the ELA components (i.e. Reading, Grammar, Language, Writing, Phonics, etc.) to meet the learning targets we desire for our students. The goal of this committee is to examine and choose a variety of resources which will aid teachers and enchance student learning in this critical area of academics. The decisions they make will be implemented in the 2018-19 school year.
