The beginning of the school year typically comes with a large amount of information and communication, so in this email, you will see a breakdown of the important district events and reminders for starting the school year off strong. If you have questions about any of the following, please reach out to your campus front office. 

Late Start Reminder for AM Part-day KPrep Through Grade 12

Monday Late Start Schedule:

JH/HS: Classes begin at 8:30 a.m.

All Elementary Schools: Doors open at 9:15 a.m. Classes begin at 9:30 a.m.

AM Part-day KPrep (McAlder and Frederickson): Doors open at 9:00 a.m. Classes begin at 9:15 a.m. and end at 11:45 a.m. (extended end time of 30 minutes).

For Grades K-12 Only: If there is a No School Day on a Monday, Tuesday will have a regular start.

CONVOCATION

Remember, our annual Convocation is on Thursday, September 7, at 5:15 p.m. This is a night of celebration with the CCS community to kick off the school year in prayer and fellowship on the junior high/high school field. There will be food trucks, games, worship, and more!  

PfC

All CCS parents are Parents for Cascade (PfC). You are invited to join us on Tuesday,  
September 19, at 9:00 a.m. at Knutson Farms (16406 78th St. E, Sumner, WA 98390) to meet parents across the school district for fellowship and fun! Don’t forget to RSVP for this PfC event.

WATCH D.O.G.S. ® (Dads of Great Students)

All fathers/father figures and their children are invited to sign up and join us at our WATCH D.O.G.S. launch event. Pizza and games will be included. RSVP and join us on Thursday, September 28, from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. in the CCS JH gym.

CCS Apparel

We have a new online store where you can purchase all your Cougar spirit wear, including gear with our spiritual theme on it! You can also still access the athletic store, and the website store has been updated with access to both.  

Weekly Cougar Sightings

Every Wednesday (excluding holidays and school breaks), be on the lookout for our weekly Cougar Sightings email featuring blogs and pictures from across the district. Cougar Sightings brings you the latest happenings and announcements for upcoming events.

IMPACT Leadership Business Summit — Friday, October 20, 2023

It is the heart of Cascade Christian Schools to also provide a place for Christian business leaders to be encouraged, informed, and supported.
