It’s been an absolute blessing to be able to share with our students the awe and wonder of this amazing season! Through singing Christmas songs with them, I have had the unique opportunity to share the message of hope. Some of the songs are ones that many children already know but may not even realize the importance of the seasonal lyrics they’ve sung. I’ve been teaching my students that many Christmas songs can often be called “worship music.” The songs that we’ve been preparing for our upcoming Christmas programs speak directly to the birth of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. We, in turn, are offering praise and worship directly to our loving God even as we prepare for our programs!

I would love to invite you all to our Christmas programs on Tuesday, December 6 to hear what your students have prepared:

• K–2nd Grade Christmas Program, 6:00–6:45 p.m. 
• 3rd–6th Grade Christmas Program, 7:15–8:00 p.m.

I can’t wait for you and your family members to hear these students proclaim the hope of the season … all through worship!
