One of the greatest privileges we have as a private Christian school is the opportunity to partner with families during some of the most formative years of a child’s life. Preschool may feel small in the scope of a lifetime, but we know these early years are anything but small. They are foundational. They are sacred. And they are full of promise.
This month, our spiritual focus is “Called to Walk in Love and Light.” This theme has resonated deeply with me, not only as an educator, but personally. Walking in love and light is not always the easiest path, even for adults. It requires intentionality, humility, and trust. And yet, it is exactly what we are inviting our children into: choosing kindness, speaking truth, extending grace, and reflecting God’s light in simple, beautiful ways.
I am continually reminded that children often grasp spiritual truths with a clarity we sometimes lose. When we teach them to walk in love and light, we are also being called to do the same, at home, at work, and in our relationships with one another. My prayer is that this theme doesn’t stay within our classroom walls but flows into our homes and conversations as families grow together in faith.
As we continue this journey, we are excited to gather as a community for our upcoming circus-themed Family Night on Friday, February 20, from 5:30–7:00 p.m. Food, fun, and prizes are included! This night is about more than fun: It’s about connection, celebrating our children, strengthening family bonds, and enjoying the gift of community God has given us. We hope you’ll join us for laughter, joy, and shared memories!
Thank you for trusting us with your children. Thank you for partnering with us in their academic, personal, and spiritual growth. We are honored to walk alongside your family and grateful for the work the Lord is doing in and through our school.
