Reflecting on the spirit of Christmas, I am once again humbled by Christ’s most precious gift to us—Himself. The Latin roots of the word “noel” come from a verb meaning “to be born.” Leaving behind the throne of heaven, Jesus took on the form of a tiny baby to be born as a human like us and to save the world from sin. As we enter the Christmas season, may we remember to turn our attention away from material gifts and turn instead to the most treasured gift: Jesus.
Please save the date for our upcoming KPrep Christmas programs on Friday, December 13. The kids have been working hard on their songs. I know that each of you will find joy in the sound of these little ones’ voices as they sing about baby Jesus’ birthday!
