February Fun!

Welcome back from midwinter break!
With the month of February coming to an end, there is more fun to be had on the Frederickson Campus. Our Read Across America Day is coming up on Friday, February 28. Students can come dressed up as their favorite book character and take a quick photo at our photo booth in the church lobby. Also taking place that day is reading buddies, where our older students will have an opportunity to read to our younger ones.
Our bookfair is the very next week, and it will be open for parents and students to shop all week long. This fun-filled week concludes with Grandparent’s Day on Friday, March 7. This is one of my favorite community events! I love celebrating our grandparents and all that they do to love and support our students and our campus. Each class will perform for their grandparents in the auditorium, take their grandparents on a classroom visit with snacks and a fun activity, and conclude their day with a visit to the bookfair.
There are so many things to look forward to and be grateful for! Our spiritual monthly focus is Be Still: He is our Source of Joy. Aren’t we glad that we can find true happiness in Him that is not based solely on our emotions or circumstances? When the hard times come, be still, and remember that you are a valuable part of God’s family—and ours.
