Today we get to hear from our Frederickson recess supervisors, RaeLynn Zaharevich and Lydia Raab:
As we embark on this new year, we are focusing our efforts on Unshakable Honor. We are grateful for our chapel speakers, who are teaching us to dive deeper into this great characteristic, and we look forward to unpacking it throughout the month.
Our awesome P.E. teacher, Mrs. Jeffries, is starting a heart-healthy challenge for the whole campus to participate in, and the kids will be doing a fundraiser, Kids Heart Challenge, to raise money for the American Heart Association! Kick-off was on January 24, and the fundraiser will go through February 18. What a great way to show honor to our physical bodies!
Kids have gone home with a heart-healthy bingo page, and if they return the bingo page to Mrs. Jeffries with 10 challenges completed, they will get a treat! Have fun doing this together as a family!
We are looking forward to our campus Open House event this Saturday, January 29, between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. At this event, we will get to welcome friends into our community and invite them to join us for the upcoming school year! We are honored to be able to grow in this way.
