    Spring Elementary Enrichments

    Enrichment Classes are open to all students, regardless of the CCS campus where they attend school.

    STEM Bakers (Grades 3-6) 

    In this class, students will explore the art of baking from a scientific perspective. Bakers will learn kitchen safety, the elements of a recipe, and hands-on techniques such as using a mixer and kneading dough. Each day, we will create delicious treats for your child to bring home and share with others.  
    Disclaimer: This is a nut-free baking class, but we will not be able to accommodate any other dietary restrictions.

    Super Snackers (K-2 Grade) 

    Super Snackers is a culinary experience that will teach students how to use basic cooking utensils, the importance of cleanliness, proper table manners, and kitchen safety. Each day, students will make a tasty treat to share with their families.

    100 Mile Club (Grades 1-6)

    100 Mile Club is a nationally recognized afterschool program that supports the prevention of childhood inactivity and obesity. Students enrolled in this program are challenged to reach personal running goals while growing their social skills and building relationships. Students will receive monthly awards for miles logged each month, with the goal of reaching 100 miles by the end of the school year. Join us on the field!  

    Frederickson Campus (Mondays & Thursdays)
    Dates: October 12, 2023–May 16, 2024 
    Time: 3:15–4:15 p.m.


    Coaching/Tutoring (K-6 Grade)

    Promote academic success with personalized one-on-one coaching/tutoring. This year's coaching/tutoring classes are available at McAlder and Puyallup Campuses. Our professional tutors offer 1-hour or ½-hour sessions that are conveniently scheduled to meet the needs of the family. This enrichment is billed through your FACTS account. Tutoring/Coaching days and times will be determined by the tutor/coach and parent.

    Grades K–2: $32 per ½-hour session (if enrolled in Cougar Club) or $36 per ½-hour session (if NOT enrolled in Cougar Club)
    Grades 3–6: $64 per 1-hour session (if enrolled in Cougar Club) or $72 per 1-hour session (if NOT enrolled in Cougar Club)

     

    Pokemon Enrichment (Grades 3-6)

    Game experience helpful, but not required. All students registered will receive a tournament-ready Pokemon deck, including 20 additional playing cards to keep.

    CCS Spring Break MUSICAL Enrichment

    We are excited to announce a special spring break enrichment class for students in grades 1-6. We'll be learning and performing routines to a variety of melodies from Mary Poppins. Join us for an unforgettable musical theatre experience!

    Ballet Bees 

    Ballet Bees is a creative movement and music enrichment program. It offers activities that enhance the development of the young child’s physical abilities and intellectual aptitude. Dancers will thrive as they celebrate God’s love through music and dance! Each ballet dancer will receive a costume.

    Music is a beautiful way to worship and praise our God. In this class, students will collaborate as a team to hone their musical skills, while also learning proper posture, solid techniques, good intonation, ear training, confidence, and ease in performance.

    Beginning Strings Group Lessons (Grades 3-6) - CLOSED
    Tuesdays (Frederickson), 4:15–4:55 p.m. and Thursdays (Puyallup), 3:30–4:10 p.m.

    Intermediate Strings Group Lessons (2nd year and above)
