“We love because He first loved us.”
—1 John 4:19
The Cougar Cares Project (CCP) is McAlder’s donation-based benevolence program. It is a parent-led project founded by a collaboration of McAlder families coming together during times of crisis to support Cascade Christian families and students.
Seasons of hardship, sickness, or tragedy can affect anyone at any time. We here at McAlder want to be proactive for our families instead of reactive when tragedy strikes. The CCP assists and supports our McAlder families in crisis through prayer, encouragement, meal trains, and financial support.
We host two annual fundraisers to support the needs of the CCP.
At McAlder, we are more than a school; we are a family! We rely on parents, teachers, classroom support managers, and staff to let us know when there is a need. All information is confidential unless the family approves of the need being shared.
Please contact CCP at CougarCaresMcAlder@gmail.com, in person, or by leaving a note in the office.
As Christ-followers and parents, we want to show our kids what it means to love with our words and our deeds. The CCP is just one way we serve McAlder families. We pray you will join us as we come alongside one another to bridge the gap between hurting and hopeful! If you have any questions or want further information on how you can volunteer, please contact us anytime via email or in person.
God Bless,
Angela Ishmael
