Here are just a few highlights of what’s been happening, as well as a sneak peek of what’s ahead:
Open House was a hit! We had roughly 30 families experience the royal tour of our campus. Praise God!
We are just now wrapping up MAP testing. Many of our students’ scores have improved significantly—way to go!
Monthly parent prayer time for our students’ needs (first Thursday of every month at 8:30 a.m. in the gym) has been powerful! A big thank you to all who have attended throughout the year.
Our Honors Chapel on February 7, focused on acknowledging students for their LEADERSHIP DEVELOPMENT, one of our 4 Pillars here at CCS. We also awarded those students who have met their second quarter reading AR goal.
Our sixth graders will join the sixth graders from Puyallup Elementary and Frederickson Elementary for a band concert on Thursday, February 8, at Motion Church.
You’ll receive a flyer on February 5 about ways to bless our community through our Feet to Faith family service project. The projects will be displayed at our upcoming Grandparents Day on Friday, March 8.
IMPACT Auction – Save the date for an evening of fun with silent and live auctions, raffles, and much more on Saturday, March 23, at 6:00 p.m. This year we will be hosting this event at the Tacoma Convention Center. Tickets, sponsorships, and more are available here.
Save the date for CCS Night at the Rainiers! Join us for a night of food, fun, and baseball at Cheney Stadium on Friday, April 12, as the Rainiers take on the Reno Aces! Arrive early and line up at the grass berm by 6:15 p.m. to participate in the on-field pregame parade from 6:15 to 6:30 p.m. before we take our seats to watch the CCS choir perform the national anthem!
That is just a sampling of the wonderful things going on around here as we diligently train up the next generation to know, love, and serve Jesus.
