Introducing Jessica Carithers

Hello, Wonderful Cougar Families!
I am so excited to introduce myself to you. My heart is filled with joy from being immersed in this warm Christian culture. I cannot wait to see how this resource specialist role will bring new strategies and interventions so that students can learn at their fullest potential.
I have been in education for more than 7 years now, having taught many grade levels as well as other intervention programs in the public schools. My bachelor's degree is in early childhood/elementary education with my master's degree in special education. I have known that I wanted to be a teacher ever since I was a little girl. This position has been a dream of mine for quite some time.
I am excited to advocate for students and provide strategies, interventions, and enrichments so that each student can be successful. Working with students to help them grow socially, emotionally, and academically will allow me to see all the ways students learn and develop. I am looking forward to getting to know our students at Cascade Christian.
