Community.

That’s how I define Cascade Christian.

Having been a Cascade Christian parent for 14 years, I can look back on each one of those years and see the word Community continually take shape in my family’s life. My husband, Jeff, and I have had three kids come through CCS. Our youngest two still attend. Kyle, a sophomore, and Brodie, an eighth grader, have literally grown up in the Cougar family starting in the KPrep class.

The community at Cascade Christian is beyond anything I’ve ever had the privilege to experience before, and while the focus of the school are the kids within its walls, it’s the CCS parents who give shape and life to this community. I don’t care if we are laughing or crying together, there’s no family like this one.

I have been blessed to be a part of an organization that cares more about others than itself. I’ve seen people come alongside to celebrate successes, and I’ve seen people come together boldly to walk heavy roads with each other. At the end of the day, the key to it all is the word together.

That’s why being in the Parents for Cascade (PfC) organization is so important to me. I know there’s a community of faith-minded, influential parents helping diligently to bless our schools so the teachers can pour into our children’s lives and shepherd their hearts. I believe in the PfC and everything it stands for! Every year, I’m continuously amazed at God’s goodness in who He brings to our schools. It’s a very welcoming family, and I’m proud to be a part of it!

Together, we are a beautiful family called Cascade Christian!
