K-6th Grades
About the Elementary Nisqually League (ENL):
ENL, short for Elementary Nisqually League, is an elementary basketball league for kindergarten through 6th grade students and reflects the same schools that form the Nisqually League at the JH and HS level. The 3rd-6th grade teams have the opportunity to learn and play at different levels by competing in two different divisions—blue or black.
The goal of Cougar Basketball Academy is fundamental development, Christlike character building, and preparation for high school basketball. This program will allow CCS players the opportunity to play together and learn together as they advance together through their school years. All registrations include uniform, awards, and a basketball (at end of season).
Cost:
- K-2nd: $100
- 3rd-6th: $155

- 5th/6th (boys/girls)
Practices:
Practices will be held at Frederickson for the Frederickson K-2nd teams ONLY. ALL McAlder and Puyallup teams will practice at the JH/HS. ALL 3rd-6th grade teams will practice at the JH/HS - regardless of campus. Days and times are to be determined, with two practices per week. The 3rd-6th grade teams may be mixed-campus teams, so please expect to travel for practices and games.
Games:
Games are on Saturdays only. Grades K-2 will play most, if not all, of their games at the CCS JH gym ("The Den"). Grades 3rd-6th will play a combination of home and away games. Games will be played on the following Saturdays: January 20 and 27; February 3, 10, and 24; and March 2 and 9. In addition, the 3rd-6th grade teams will have a jamboree on December 9th to determine bracket competition.
Evaluation Dates:
Evaluations provide an opportunity to place athletes and build cohesive teams. Athletes may come to both dates, but only one is required. Evaluations take place in the JH and HS gyms. These dates apply only to 3rd-6th grade athletes.
- 3rd-4th grades - Saturday, Nov. 4 from 12-1 PM; and Sunday, Nov. 5 from 2-3 PM
- 5th-6th grades - Saturday, Nov. 4 from 1-2 PM; and Sunday Nov. 5 from 3-4 PM

Join us for a combined time of open gym, drills and scrimmages. 2024 Spring Slam is being run by the CCS JH boys basketball coaches and players.
