Cross Country
CCS Cross Country (Grades K–6)
Our cross country program builds endurance and perseverance while also providing a sense of community within a team.
2026 Season
Season: Practices start the week of September 7, 2026. Meets will take place on Sunday afternoons (see schedule under “Meets”).
League: CCS competes in partnership with other Nisqually League private schools.
Meets: Meets are held at local parks and schools, and they will tentatively take place on the following Sundays:
- September 20
- September 27
- October 4
- October 18
Practices: Practices will be held once or twice a week at the Frederickson and McAlder Campuses. Practice days and times are TBD.
Divisions:
- Kindergarten (Coed) | 0.25 Mile
- 1st/2nd Grade Boys/Girls | 0.5 Mile
- 3rd/4th Grade Boys/Girls | 1 Mile
- 5th/6th Grade Boys/Girls | 1 Mile
Cost: $70 (includes uniform)
Eligibility Requirements
For the 2026–2027 school year, all athletes participating in sports through the ENL (Elementary Nisqually League) must be enrolled at Cascade Christian Schools. This policy applies to cross country (XC), track & field, soccer, volleyball, flag football, and grades 1–6 recreational basketball.
This policy does not apply to competition cheer, tackle football, baseball, elite basketball, KPrep athletics, or summer camps.
