CCS Cheer
Our cheer program focuses on spirit, strength, and unity while encouraging athletes to lead with energy and positivity.
Competition Cheer (Grades K–6)
Tryouts:
A parent interest meeting for CCS Elementary Competition Cheer will happen on June 15 in the CCS High School Forum Deo Gloria PAC, 6:30–8:00 p.m.
Tryouts for the 2026–2027 competitive cheer team will take place June 17–18 at CCS High School/Junior High, 6:30–7:30 p.m. A $15 tryout fee will be due upon registration.

Season: August—February (one event in April)
League: Cheerleaders will have the opportunity to learn and compete within the Washington State Cheerleading Association (WSCA) and the Fellowship of Christian Cheerleaders (FCC). Cheerleaders must try out to be a part of the competition team.
Events: The CCS Elementary Competition Cheer team’s performances include CCS district-wide events, the Santa Parade, and the Daffodil Parade. The competition cheer team will compete in two to four competitions throughout the year. Travel will be required.
Practices: Tuesdays and Thursdays, with occasional Fridays. The actual time and location will depend on the number of cheerleaders/teams and on the team’s age group.
Cost:
- $15.00 tryout fee
- $300 uniform fee (onetime fee that applies to NEW cheerleaders only; returning cheerleaders already have a uniform)
- $160 per month* (a monthly fee billed September–February via your child’s FACTS account)
- $250 onetime annual program fee
- Cheer-specific shoes
*Note: Monthly fee may vary depending on team placement.
Eligibility Requirements
For the 2026–2027 school year, all athletes participating in sports through the ENL (Elementary Nisqually League) must be enrolled at Cascade Christian Schools. This policy applies to cross country (XC), track & field, soccer, volleyball, flag football, and grades 1–6 recreational basketball.
This policy does not apply to competition cheer, tackle football, baseball, elite basketball, KPrep athletics, or summer camps.
